Cardboard can be used in making many creative stuffs. We often find left over boxes of shoes, gifts, food items and a lot more. They are so pretty that we don’t wish to throw them and are simply kept wishing we might use it this set of tutorials is all about making some really cool things from cardboard which will also add fashion to your House!! Let us begin
1.Cardboard Purse
Materials
- Cardboard strips
- Fevicol
- Glue Gun
- Valcro
- Beads Lace
Procedure
- Cut 2 strips from card board of 20.5 cm long and 5 cm wide
- Cut 2 strips of 20.5 cm long and 3 cm wide
- Cut a strip in rectangular shape with its front edge as envelope of 20.5 cm in length and 5 cm in breadth with
- Front edge of 7 cm
- Strips to make the purse are ready
- Paste those strips at a distance from each other on a piece of cloth
- From top cover strips with another cloth
- Fold it and it forms a purse
- Now cover the side lines by measuring it with a scale and cutting it with pieces of cardboard
- Cover those stripes also with a piece of cloth
- After pasting those side covers your purse is ready
- Paste the valcro
- Decorate it with laces
2.Cardboard Guitar
Materials
- Cardboard in shape of Guitar
- Glue
- Paper pin
- String
Procedure
- Cut out a cardboard in shape of guitar in two sets
- Place a string on cut out of guitar
- One end pastes on it
- Second end to be connected with a pin
- Tie a knot at the end of the pin connected with string
- Now paste the other set of guitars
- Decorate it as per choice
- Your cardboard guitar is ready
3.Photo frame out of Cardboard
Materials
- Cardboard
- Gift paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Procedure
- Draw a rectangle shape of on cardboard
- Cut out in length of 15.5 cm and breadth of 3 cm
- Decorate the edge with gift wrap
- Paste your photograph
4.Cardboard box
Materials
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
Procedure
- Cut out edges of cardboard
- Put cuts at end of strips
- Insert those strips among one another
5. Decor with toilet paper roll
Material
- Toilet paper roll
- Red craft paper
- Yellow craft paper
- Black sketch pen
- Pompom
- eyes
- Glue
Procedure
- Take the roll of toilet paper and cover one of its ends with a small lid kind of cardboard
- Now cover half of the roll with yellow craft paper by placing it all around
- Now roll red craft paper in shape of a clown’s hat and place it as a cap on the other uncovered end of roll
- Stick eyes and draw a smile with black sketch pen
- Now stick pompom on face to make the nose. Make such more decors and have fun
6. Desk Organizer
Materials
- Cardboard
- Glue
- Ruler
- Scissor
- Pencil
- Paint
- Brush
Procedure
- For the cardboard desk you will have to make few corners for it and drawers too
- Now take a cardboard and make trapezium shape and cut it you will need two such shape boxes make sure you have six of such cut outs and then stick them together
- Now for the drawers make a square box from cardboard as shown in the video
- For base make a cut background for it
- Stick all the shapes one after the other
- Stick the background on the back side
- Paint it with acrylic colour and it done!!!
7. Tape dispenser
Materials
- Cardboard
- Glue
- Scissor
- Cutter
- Blade
- Pencil
- Ruler
Procedure
- For the tape dispenser take a carboard base make taking any round shape make two round shape from it and cut it
- Now make a take dispenser shape as shown in the video and cut make two of such shapes
- For sticking them together make a rectangular base shape
- Stick all of them one opposite to other you will see a little dispenser shape now
- Take tape roll and place it on the round shape you prepared
- Attach the blade ahead the dispenser
- Your tape dispenser is ready!!
8. Lamp from cardboard
Materials
- Cardboard
- Glue
- Glue stick
- Bulb
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Cutter
- Wire
Procedure
- Take a carboard base draw oval shapes on it as shown in the video
- Once done drawing give it a cut
- Now take another cardboard and make small mirror shapes from it and cut it
- Using this mirror shapes stick the oval shapes one after the other
- You will see lantern shape prepared now
- Stick each one of them properly it should not get loose
- Place bulb inside it and its ready!
9. Cardboard lamp
Materials
- Cardboard
- Glue gun
- Glue stick
- Cutter
- Pencil ruler
- Circuit
- Bulb
- Marker
- White cardboard
- Wire
Procedure
- Take a carboard base make a key inserting shape in it
- Take another square shape carboard make a small hole in it to insert the bulb holler
- Stick both the square together insert wire in it
- Now take a white cardboard cut it into four square shapes
- Using a marker and ruler make random lines on it
- Does it for all four shapes?
- Now stick all four of them together and make a box from it
- Place the box on the cardboard base you prepared insert a bulb switch it on and its ready!!!
